What is the course cost?

Prices can vary between instructors. Most places that put on training cources will pack the class with the maximim number of students being 12.

This means you get to have each of 12 people handle 6 different firearms approximately 4 times to get proficient with them. It only makes sense that the more student tested the more time is required to mark all of the exams.

Now we move on to the individual practical hands on test. You will be tested on at least 3 of the 6 rifles you handled. This takes about 20 to 25 minutes per student. Each student is tested privately and the time for this varies based on the experience level of the student. With a full class of 12 people you could potentially wait 4 hours to be tested.

For this reason I prefer classes of 6 or less people. Due to the fact I am teaching fewer people the cost to put on the course must reflect the number of students.

For 1 to 4 students the cost is $175 per person for Non-Restricted and $150 for Restricted taken on a different day.

for 5 to 6 students the cost would be $150 per person for Non-Restricted and $140 for Restricted.

Individual single person teaching and testing can be arranged but again the price will have to reflect course costs etc.

If you have a group of people wanting to take the course it is possible to have the training at your premises but there would be a $100 set up and take down fee to cover time and effort for the work involved.
